Marketing & Business Advisory

Know what sets your business apart - and what to do next. We work directly with owners and teams to sharpen positioning, strengthen the customer experience, and pursue the right marketing and partnership opportunities. We bring industry experience, candid advice, and valuable connections to help you make confident decisions and put plans into motion.

WAYS TO WORK TOGETHER

90-Minute Working Session

$500 | 30 minutes of preparation and a 60-minute call

A fresh perspective on your business and clear direction on where to focus next. We’ll look at what you’re doing, talk through your goals and identify practical ways to strengthen your marketing.

What we can work through

  • Does your website make it clear what you offer and why someone should choose you?

  • What could your social media be doing to better support the business?

  • Are your photography, messaging and marketing materials telling the same story?

  • Where would your marketing budget make the most difference?

  • How could you bring more attention to a new product, service or location?

  • What should you tackle first—and what can wait?

How it works

Before we connect, I’ll spend 30 minutes reviewing your website, social media and any questions you’ve shared. We’ll then have a 60-minute video or phone call to discuss what I’m seeing and work through your priorities together.

You’ll leave with my honest perspective and practical next steps you can put into action. We can leave it there or discuss additional support. There’s no commitment beyond the session.

Ad Hoc Advisory

$350 per hour | One-hour minimum

Focused support for a particular question, decision or opportunity, available to clients I’ve worked with before. With an understanding of your business already in place, we can pick up where we left off or work through something new.

When to bring me in

  • Review an agency proposal or current contract and talk through the scope, cost and questions to ask.

  • Evaluate website copy or a designer’s concepts

  • Help select content or imagery for your website, campaign or product launch.

  • Evaluate a sponsorship or collaboration and identify what would make it worthwhile.

  • Join a call with your social media, PR or advertising partner to work through a decision.

  • Revisit recommendations from an earlier session and adjust based on what’s happened since.

Time and billing

We’ll agree on the question we’re addressing and the anticipated time before we begin. Preparation, material review, meetings and follow-up are billed in 30-minute increments, with a one-hour minimum.

Where to begin

Ad Hoc Advisory requires an existing working relationship and enough context about your business to offer informed guidance. If we haven’t worked together before, we’ll begin with the 90-minute Marketing Working Session to build that foundation.

Ongoing Marketing Advisory

$1,500 per month | 5 hours | Month-to-month

Regular conversations and focused guidance for owners who want an experienced perspective as their business evolves. I get to know your business, help you work through decisions and stay connected as you put ideas into action.

What we can work on together

  • Review next month’s social media calendar and identify which products, services or stories deserve more attention.

  • Talk through a marketing proposal or spending decision before you commit.

  • Look at a website update, email or campaign concept and discuss specific improvements.

  • Evaluate a local event, sponsorship or business collaboration and decide how to participate.

  • Review results from a recent promotion and decide what to repeat or change.

  • Follow up on priorities from our last conversation and work through what’s getting stuck.

Time and meeting frequency

Five hours per month, including two 45-minute virtual meetings, with remaining hours for agreed preparation, material review, and follow-up guidance.

Engagement

Month-to-month. We’ll choose a focused set of priorities that fits the time available. This works well when you or your team are carrying out the work and want regular advice along the way.

Interim Marketing Support and Leadership

$1,500–$5,000 per month

Temporary support during a hiring gap, transition or period of change. I work with ownership, your team and outside partners to establish priorities, guide decisions and keep important work moving while you determine what comes next.

Where I can help

  • Review current campaigns, commitments and deadlines with your team and determine what needs attention first.

  • Meet with your social media, PR or advertising partners to clarify priorities and next steps.

  • Review upcoming content, website updates or creative concepts and give specific feedback before approval.

  • Help guide an opening, launch or event by clarifying the message, audience and roles of everyone involved.

  • Talk through spending decisions, agency proposals and sponsorship requests with ownership.

  • Help define what your next marketing hire or partner should take responsibility for.

  • Bring the incoming person up to speed on current priorities, partners and decisions.

Engagement

We’ll agree on the anticipated timeframe and immediate priorities at the start, with monthly extensions as needed. The $1,500 option provides focused support; higher levels allow more involved leadership and coordination.

Fractional Marketing Leadership

$3,000–$5,000 per month

Ongoing, part-time marketing leadership from someone who knows your business and understands your goals. I work alongside ownership and your team to guide priorities, develop ideas and help everyone move in the same direction.

What we can work on together

  • Decide which products, services or business goals your marketing should focus on each month.

  • Review your social media, PR and advertising plans together so they support the same priorities.

  • Give photographers, designers and writers clear direction on what you need and what the work should communicate.

  • Look at the customer experience - from discovering your business online to buying or visiting - and identify specific improvements.

  • Explore collaborations with complementary businesses, community organizations or local publications.

  • Review campaign results and partner recommendations to decide what to continue, adjust or try next.

  • Plan ahead for seasonal opportunities, launches and business changes so your team has time to prepare.

Engagement

An initial three-month commitment, followed by month-to-month with 30 days’ notice to end the engagement. This gives us time to learn, act and adjust together.

For all monthly engagements

Hours include meetings, preparation, material review, partner conversations and between-meeting support. We’ll agree on priorities that fit the available hours and discuss additional time before it’s incurred. Photography, production and outside partner fees are scoped separately.

I would love to help you and your business
